In 2025, Landmark Solutions installed a replacement floating breakwater at Bush Harbour on Kinbasket Lake for BC Hydro. The system was engineered using heavy-duty HDPE pipe flotation combined with vertical rubber attenuation panels to effectively reduce wave energy and create safe, calm conditions around the boat launch. The design also accounted for significant reservoir fluctuations, allowing the system to rest securely on the basin during low water periods without compromising performance. Anchor piles were incorporated to secure the system and ensure safe boating access during low water conditions. The completed installation provides a durable, adaptable solution suited to the operational demands of a large hydroelectric reservoir.
